Thank You Mom and Dad

Thank you for the stuff from Africa !!! Especially the really annoying camel that you gave Jackson he pushes it over and over.
It is Friday Yay!!! What a week it has been. Work is going good I am just wiped out. Everyone is doing good on the home front. Kierra is still coughing but she is better for the most part. Skyler is still not sure what to do for his science project, any ideas? Jackson is just as crazy as ever.
Well tomorrow we have soccer but no real plans except cleaning and yard work for the weekend. Love Ya !!!

BUSY

Well I am still workin away. Theresa and I are having so much fun laughing and keeping our sense of humor all day. Kierra is in daycare and they love her. They said she reminds them of a ladybug with her big eyes. I love that. She does look like one especially when she has two piggy tails in her hair.

Busy Busy Busy

Back to work I go ...

Oh my! Today I started back to work. Kierra has been sick with a cold and decided to wake up at 3 am this morning and not go back to sleep till 7 am when I left for work. So I was running off no sleep on my first day back.
It was weird to go back since I have been gone so long. I felt like I was starting new back to work. I had fun though. I loved being back with my old coworkers.
Took Kierra to the doctor for her 4 month check up. They didn't do shots because she is so sick. She weighed 13 lbs and 5 oz and 25 inches long. She is 40% for weight and 75% for height. The doctor said she looks awesome and healthy. He wants us to go back for shots as soon as she is feeling better.
Skyler went back to his after school program which he loves. He likes it because he gets to play sports with other kids. He is also getting ready for the science fair he wants to enter. He has so many ideas but not sure which one yet.
Jackson got a hair cut today and looks so handsome. It is way better than the fro he had. It is funny because he loves to get his hair cut so it is a big deal when he gets to go to the salon.
Well tomorrow is another day back to work so I must get ready. I hope Kierra feels better or I will have to stay home with her on my first week back. Cross your fingers.

Birthday Boy !!!

Jackson is FOUR years old today!!!! He is super excited and keeps telling everyone "Say happy birthday to me", "Sing me Happy Birthday" . I can't believe he is 4 already. WOW!! Also Kierra turns 4 months old today. Time sure does fly.

We have had a busy week. Kierra and Jackson have been going to school for 2 1/2 hours everyday. On Monday I start back to work full time. Jackson got right back in the grove of school and is doing wonderful. He was happy to see his friends and they were happy to see him. Kierra did really well in school too. She won't let them put her down much but they did get her to sleep 20 minutes in the crib.

Last night we thought my sister in law was in labor last night but it was a false alarm. I went to their house and watched the kids for them. I also was a nice sister and cleaned their house. They ended up sending her home though. So we came home late last night and I can't wait till my niece comes into the world.

Sky was grumpy this morning because we were up so late but I still made him go to school so he was mad. It was so funny though because in the car Jackson said "Say Happy Birfday to me Brober" and Skyler said " No! you weren't even born yet" (He was born at 4:42 pm)

Soccer

It was a beautiful day for soccer. Eddie,Sarah, and the kids met us there. Skyler's team won!!! Still undefeated!!!

My baby is rolling over

Okay she is growing way to fast, Kierra is rolling over!!! She is supposed to be a baby baby still she isn't even four months old yet.
Jackson has had a good day again. He still could eat a little better but that is to be expected. He only woke up once last night complaining of pain. How will I go back to work with two waking up at all hours of the night. My sleep is precious to me. I don't know how Brian does it going to work so early on such little sleep.
My broham is coming over tonight with the kids and Sarah and we are going to have dinner (still don't know what yet). My brother are going to pick up a new dresser for Kierra (I am super excited).
Skyler is cleaning his room so I have to go tell him to turn down his music. Love ya

Just one more thing

Who does this? Oh Ya Jackson. He is wearing underware and a spiderman top for jammies tonight.

Ok today you can call me snipy sniperson. I am so ready for a vacation from kids ahhhh!!!! I have one question why do kids have to wait till you are on the phone to whine and ask questions and follow you repeating over and over the same thing till you answer? Really why?

Also why when you go to the grocery store do they always have to pee the second you get into your shopping and then 5 minutes later they need to go again then the baby cries to be held because god forbid she has to sit in her car seat but wait she puked all over her clothes so you leave her in her seat and she screams and your other kid whines because he wants this and that and people stare like you are this terrible mom AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! Ok I had to get that off my chest.

On another note Jackson has had a wonderful day. He is eating more and has not yet asked for pain medicine. Kierra is rolling and scooting backwards. Oh ya Skyler's soccer game was cancelled due to snow so after Saturdays game I will post pictures. He starts Bloomsday training Thursday at his school. Chow till tomorrow

Day Four After Surgery

Hi today is a better day for Jackson. He seems to be in less pain and a little more with the program. He still isn't eating well but that is to be expected. He absolutly can not stand that someone has to feed him. I mushed some cookies in milk and he currently is really enjoying those. I am just going to have to get creative i guess.

Jackson is also starting to make k and g sounds which is good news. He is trying everything to get me to take off his arm restraints, Like saying they hurt or itch or he hates them. At least he doesn't follow me around now crying about them.

Skyler has a soccer game tommorow so I will get pictures posted of his game as soon as possible.

"My Baby!" Day after surgery.
Hi We are home. Jackson got out at 9:00 am and is doing good. He has lots of pain and is sad when he can't eat or do what he normally does but we explain why and he seems to be ok with it. We have to spoon feed him for 4 weeks and keep him on a completly soft diet (such as yogurt,applesauce etc...). He has to have arm restraints for 3 to 4 weeks so he doesn't put things into his mouth.
We are going to keep it easy at home for awhile and hope all goes well.

Jacksons surgery update

Hi Jackson is done with surgery. He went in at about 2 and was done at 4:45. He spent a long time in recovery because he was bleeding a lot. He is now in his hospital room and not bleeding anymore. He is on morphine so pretty much out of it. Although he wanted to eat, so he has had lots of yogurt and applesauce and seems to be fine with it.
The Dr said that when he got into the palate there is a lot of fatty tissue rather than muscle. This could be part of his swallow issues. The Dr added lenth to the palate but did not make the speed bump because he felt the length was long enough. So he took tissue from the back of the throat and added it to his palate.
We won't know for 3 months if this surgery was effective but if it is you can ussually notice soon after surgery. He is going to be in pain for at least 7 days so we will keep him well medicated. For 48 hours he has to have arm restraints to keep him from putting anything to his mouth.
The Doc said if all is well tomorrow he will go home. They will send him home on Tylenol/Codeine, Amoxicillan, and arm restraints (for 48 hours).
He seems kind of sad but was happy when Skyler gave him a stuffed alligator as a get well gift. Skyler said he almost cried when he saw him (Too Cute). Jackson also wanted to see his baby right away.
They don't want him talking to much but he does talk here and there.Brian is staying with him tonight and I will go back tomorrow morning.
Sky, Kierra and I are at the Ronald Mcdonald house. Skyler loves it because they have a WII. Anywho I will post more tomorrow.
