Wookie is turning 5 tomorrow

This is Skyler at Jackson's age.

Skyler when he was a little tike

So every now and then I have to get gushy. My middle baby boy is turning 5 tomorrow.

Seems like yesterday Jackson was a baby.
I wish the Doctors who had said Jackson wouldn't make it could see him now. He was so fragile and frail and now he is driving us CRAZY and keeping us LAUGHING!!!
Feeding tube gone.
Eating and Drinking like a champ.
Running Jumping Talking Walking.
Did I mention CRAZY and SILLY.
We love you Jackson and are so PROUD of you.
So on another note Soccer Games tomorrow. Skyler got picked for a Soccer Academy that is every Sunday for 4 weeks. It sounds like it is going to be fun. I guess he is pretty lucky for getting chosen to attend.
Jackson has a game tomorrow too.
Skyler finished the WASL tests this week.
Did a dumb thing. I took all three kids to their well child exams at the same time. Note to self NEVER AGAIN!!!
Skyler was 69 lbs and 54.8 inches tall
Jackson was 44 lbs and 43inches tall
Kierra was 21 lbs and 31.3 inches tall
Skyler got a Hep A shot and hates to have shots.
Jackson was so excited to get his shots for Kindergarten. He got four shots. The nurse said she never met a kid excited to get their shots. Only Jackson.

Jackson we are so excited that you will be celebrating your fifth Birthday !! Five is a special birthday because that means you will be going to the big school.I can't believe you will be going to Kindergarten. You have grown so fast!!! We could tell you were very excited for your party when we talked to you on the phone. We hope you had fun at Chucky Cheese. Always know we are very proud of you!!! Hoppa and I are getting very excited to see you this summer ! We can hardly wait!! We will have movie parties in the living room and you can have your chicken and I'll have my chips and dip. We'll have lots of living room parties. We'll also go on a trip again this summer. We'll go to a water slide somewhere and stay overnight. Wasn't our trip last summer to the ocean fun? That was one of my favorite trips ever.

Amy reading your note brought back many memories of our Jackson or Wookie. We are so blessed he is in our family. He keeps us ALL laughing. God knew we needed to keep him down on earth with us. In many ways it is hard to believe he is turning 5. He is a special gift to all of us. Reading your note also made me and Dad shed tears.Dad and I feel that one reason he is so healthy is that you and Brian have done everything you both could do to see he received the best medical care. You both have never given up. You have resourced and advocated for him. When you didn't like what you heard or the Drs or medical team wouldn't listen you spoke your minds and if they didn't listen you went another direction. Thanks for taking such good care of Jackson. I also feel that Jackson has always known how much he is loved. That has made him fight so hard to live and that has created the special personality he has. All of our lives would be boring without him.

Hoppa and I will celebrate his birthday today by going to a Therma
Spa and swimming pool.

We can't wait to see Jackson's birthday pictures !!! We'll call later today to see how his party was.

Love, Hamma, Hoppa, Mum and Dad
The sunshine is out today!!!
